Opening Destiny Eleven for the first time? Start by creating your player. Choose your country, position and a few parts of your profile. Then your career begins.
You do not play every match yourself. You make the important decisions, then the game moves the season forward.
1. Create your player
Start by choosing your nationality.
Three countries are suggested. Choose one or use the dice to show a new selection. The country you choose is also the national team you may be able to represent.
Next, choose your position, background, lifestyle and entourage. Together, these elements form the starting profile for your career.
For a first playthrough, simply choose a player you want to follow. You do not need to calculate everything.

2. Read the event
The career moves forward through short events.
A coach may speak to you. A club may make an offer. You may also face an injury, a dressing-room problem or a situation involving the media, family or money.
Read the situation, then look at the responses offered. There is not always an obvious answer.

3. Make your choice
Choose the response that fits the player you want to build.
One answer may improve the situation immediately. Another may look riskier but open a different possibility.
Your decisions matter, but they do not let you predict the entire career.
4. See the result
The result appears immediately after your choice.
Values that rise or fall are shown with an explanation, so you can see what your response has just changed.
Readiness reflects your physical condition. Confidence shows how you feel at that point in the career.
Some effects are immediate. Others may matter later.

5. Follow the season
After the event, Destiny Eleven advances the season.
The season summary brings together appearances, goals, assists, average rating, the club objective and any trophies.
The statistics highlighted depend on your position. A striker and a goalkeeper are not judged in the same way.
Pay particular attention to playing time, performances and whether the club met its objective.

6. Decide what comes next
At the end of some seasons, you will need to decide what comes next in your career.
Depending on the situation, you may stay, extend your contract, leave on loan or accept an offer.
Look at the club, the contract and the role on offer. The biggest name is not always the best fit.
Once you decide, a new season begins.
7. Resume your career
Your active career is saved in your browser.
Return on the same device and in the same browser, then select Resume career in the game.
The save may disappear if you clear browser data, use private browsing or change devices.
Tips for getting started
For your first career, do not try to predict every outcome.
Read the events, keep an eye on readiness and confidence, then make decisions that fit your player.
An injury, a poor season or an unexpected transfer does not mean the playthrough has failed. They are all part of the career.
Do I have to play the matches?
No. Matches and seasons are simulated. You make the decisions that shape the career.
Can I undo a choice?
Treat each decision as final for the current career. Read the responses before choosing.
Does the dice choose the whole career?
No. It is mainly used to show different options while creating your player.
Can I have several saves?
The current version mainly keeps the active career in the browser. Starting a new game can replace the previous one.
Where can I find more explanations?
Read the Destiny Eleven Guide to better understand values, transfers, injuries and retirement.
